Entries are steadily increasing for the 2025 Transpac, with John Raymont’s Ker 52 Fast Exit II the 30th boat to register and one of several veteran competitors to commit to a repeat offshore run from Los Angeles to Honolulu.
The Transpac is so many things to so many sailors. It’s a long race between two legendary destinations; it’s an ocean crossing; it’s 118 years of breaking records and pushing the boundaries of boat design; it’s a challenge; it’s a triumph; it’s where memories are made. It’s a great story.

Prince Waikiki Resort has partnered with Transpacific Yacht Club to offer special rates for Transpac participants. Adjacent to the Ala Wai Boat Harbor, the Prince Waikiki is an oceanfront hotel located in close proximity to all Transpac events. On November 13, 2024, at 6:00pm PT, join Peter Isler for a seminar aimed at the navigator, but that will also benefit the afterguard and anyone who is going to be looking at the computer screen and considering information coming from the "box" during the race.
Isler is a Transpac and America’s Cup-winning navigator and co-founder of Marine Weather University. He will cover topics such as:
Knowledge is power, and Isler will share his techniques and philosophies for how to maximize the team. Setting strategy, communicating and agreeing on the plan, and helping the speed team will all be presented from a navigator's perspective. Don't just send your navigator—anyone involved in helping the boat go fast will benefit from learning about the navigator's toolbox.
If you’re planning to enter the 2025 race, navigate your way to our customized Nautical Cloud platform where owners can create an account, add basic boat details and officially enter the race with the $250 entry deposit.
Throughout the coming year, owners can continue to use the Nautical Cloud platform to complete the task list to meet all entry requirements. Your crew members will also create their own individual accounts on the platform, and then be added to crew rosters and assigned roles such as Person in Charge, so they can help manage all aspects of the entry process.
